TEAM NAME: Chuggers COLOR: Royal Blue & White. Alternate color- Orange SIZE: We are made up of mostly former college players.  We also have some WPSL players. AGE: early 20's to early 30's...although there may be a few outliers... TURN-ONS: Having at least 2 refs show for our games, dedicated players, good competitive games. TURN-OFFS: Playing with less than 11 on the field and bad attitudes. WHAT OUR TEAM IS KNOWN FOR: Confidence and team work. Also, playing really hung over (cmon with a name like Chuggers)! LOCATION: Tiverton, RI (Town Farm) TRAVEL & TOURNEYS: Some of us have traveled to the Plymouth Tourney and Long Island tourneys. We competed in our first tourney as a team in Chelmsford, MA with a second place finish in A Division. TEAM RULES:Show up, Play Hard, Have fun TEAM TOAST: No toast, just chug! TURN-OFFS:Teammates going MIA and Injuries. WHAT OUR TEAM IS KNOWN FOR: Being a drinking team with a soccer problem. LOCATION: Johnston, RI (Johnston High School) TRAVEL & TOURNEYS:Travel to NH for St. Patty's day extravaganza! Tournaments this fall. TEAM RULES: Every player must earn a nickname, have a vegetable name and save time for a toast after the game! TEAM TOAST: Go foxy or go home! TEAM MOTTO: It's not just soccer, it's a lifestyle.

TEAM NAME: Guinness Girls COLOR: Gold SIZE: We always have room for a few good women AGE: Old enough to know better TURN-ONS: Fun personality, competitive, ball skills, team loyalty, cold beer TURN-OFFS: Poor sportsmanship, quitters, no shows, warm beer WHAT OUR TEAM IS KNOWN FOR: The best looking uniforms in the league, always having laughs with other teams and throwing the best parties. LOCATION: We are scattered throughout RI but our home field is Wilson Park, Wickford, RI TRAVEL & TOURNEYS: Several of us and as a team have been to tourneys in Germany, Portugal, New Orleans, Michigan, Seattle, New York, etc. We are currently looking into a tourney in Las Vegas! TEAM NAME: Newport Spinnakers COLOR: light blue SIZE: Medium AGE: Young, old and everything in-between TURN-ONS: Fun, food and oh-yeah soccer TURN-OFFS: Bad weather and bad fields WHAT OUR TEAM IS KNOWN FOR: Laid back attitude. Carlos. LOCATION: Most players live in the Newport/Middletown area but some players live 40 minutes away! Our home field is Fort Adams, Newport with a great view and swimming after games in the warm weather. TRAVEL & TOURNEYS: Players usually participate in tournaments with other teams. If we have enough interest from players, we can enter tournaments as a team. TEAM RULES: Call someone if you're not coming to a game. Play hard. TEAM TOAST: We're still working on that one... TEAM NAME: RI-USA Strikers COLOR: White or gray SIZE: XSmall-Xlarge (only kidding) Roster of 24 AGE: 20-54 TURN-ONS: Lots of fun and parties! TURN-OFFS: Poor Sportsmanship WHAT OUR TEAM IS KNOWN FOR: Most of our players have been together since 1998 when we formed a team to travel to Germany for a tournament. We had so much fun together as a team that we decided we would try to keep the team together as much as possible. We traveled again in 1999 to New Orleans. Finally in 2000 joined the RIWSL as the Strikers. LOCATION: Across Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts TRAVEL & TOURNEYS: Tourney and fun in Hammah, Germany 1998. New Orleans, LA 1999. Hosts of the Friendship Cup 2000 tourney with our friends from Germany as our guests. Long Island, NY 2000-05. All in all, our team has been competitive in all tournaments. TEAM RULES: Be on time. Notify team reps if you'll be late or a 'no-show'. TEAM TOAST: Prost! TEAM MOTTO: The team that plays together, stays together!
